    Hey Armyguy,

I'm so sorry for what you're going through. I don't have PTSD, so I can't even imagine what you're going through. But I am here to listen, I can help you go through you're options if you'd like.

You said you can't go to a military psychiatrist about these problems. Can you go to a civilian psych instead? Also, if you're scared about you're career being tainted from the PTSD, isn't making you're life worth living worth more than having a good career?

As I said, I know nothing of life in the army or its structures and procedures, but I'm here if you just need someone to listen or to vent. And welcome to SF! I hope you find all the help you need here.

    All the best to you!

    Max

There is a veteran crisis line you can call to talk with someone I would hope you have a therapist. It is the only way to get rid of the trauma I have post trauma and having a therapist is the only thing keeping me stable. Phone vet line and get therapist it was set up to help soldiers that went through what you went through please reach out and get help so the nightmares will stop.

Just wondering how your day went. Please make sure you talk to someone and don't keep this bottled inside. Your mind is trying to process what has happened and until it does, the flashbacks can take over. Get help asap. The sooner you deal with them, the sooner relief will come. The memories don't go away, but they will get to the place you can deal with them. It takes time.

So sorry you are reliving these horrors...is there anyway after you have experienced one of them to tell yourself that you do not need to do this to yourself? Often times, by claiming the reality and revising the narrative, you can lesses their influence...I am not saying that you are literally doing this to yourself, but I have found that I could decrease these horror movies by talking to them...(e.g. "you know what happened and you do not have to look at them again) please PM me if I can help in anyway...J
