I had posted last week on another thread about this poem and that I would post it as soon as I was unpacked and sorted after my hospital stay. I wrote this on Saturday night of my stay as it was the first time since I have been sick that I had felt almost like I did before I got sick. I hope y'all enjoy.

    I Laughed Today

    I laughed today
harder than my time can tell.
    I laughed today
deeper than the ravines of hell.

    I laughed today
with no thought to purpose of place.
    I laughed today
    and malice seemed to erase.

    I laughed today
    just because others did too.
    I laughed today
    for joy to renew.

    I laughed today
in spit of lass and pain.
    I laughed today
    though outside there was rain.

    I laughed today
    to restore soul and heart.
    I laughed today
    gladness to impart.

    I laughed today

Keep smiling, keep laughing. We none of us laugh as often as we should.
