    What's a good city in your country that isn't too popular?

    galway is really popular, i would say killarny or tralee
    but then again it depends on what your looking for...

    go to the other side of the world, far away from your home , e.g. Phuket, Thailand and enjoy the beautiful beachesand the extremely low cost of living.

    errm, since your country is my country, does that mean I shouldn't answer? In any event, all the good cities, popular or not, seem to be expensive as hell.

    And, what's the giant rush? Why "right now?" :unsure:

    Seems to me if you're going to up and move someplace far away you might want to rely on something a bit more solid than a message board recommendation. Even if it is a well intentioned recommendation, as I have no doubt all the ones on this thread will be, it is just that your interests and the ones of those making a recommendation might not necessarily be in agreement.

    I really liked Linköping when I lived there for one year, its a medium size great bike city and pretty fun place to be in.

    I'm writing a screenplay and I need interesting cities to place movie scenes in. :)

    Bristol. It's nice and quiet here but theres a lot to do and see
