    I see you,
    looking at me.
Turning your head to my misery,
my heart hurts but yet you look away.
My sadness will not be validated today.

    Why ask how I'm feeling,
    If you'd rather not know.
    For the shadow you cast,
    Just deepens my load.

    You look at me,
    and close your eyes.
    How don't you know,
    that this isn't okay.

    I sit in silence,
    Inside there's a war.
    Where you see nothing,
    I see so much more.

    You watch me,
    as I fall,
back into the hole of worthless ambition,
And the great hall of isolated bliss.

At least in this realm, I don't worry about being missed.
For I am the queen of this castle, the princess in the tower,
    I am that girl..Ms. Invisible,
    dying amiss.

    I see you..
    looking through me.
Invisibility is all you'll ever see.

I think this is very powerful. To me you have caught the embodiment of society today, be it neighbor or friend or gathering. Blindness of the heart I call it and you stated it wonderfully.

Painful. Beautiful. Honest. Can very much identify. Thank you very much.

Thank you both, just beginning to find my voice in a ultra conformist world. Speak your mind, it frees your soul.
