suicide IS NOT A SIN it is an "option". they give soldiers suicide pills in case they know they are giong to die so they die peacefully. does that make any sense to you? hell is here people HELL IS HERE. god is caring and loving and well didn't he commit suicide by not getting out of dying on the cross? he could have and didn't. it's an old religion thing fromthe bible. god takes care of his children so don't be afraid of that hell shit.

The Bible pretty much confuses me as it contradicts itself all of the way through thus always being able to answer any problem. If God forgives all how can anyone go to hell? Alot of religions say if you don't believe in their religion you go to hell? If that is the case everyone will be going to hell. It's really confusing this is why I don't post.

yes it is confusing, according to the Bible if you repent of your sins, you will be forgiven, but there are contradictions in the Bible to that verse, and most Christians today think that 'a sinner's prayer' will get you to heaven. Strange. Don't know enough about other religions but it is certainly true that some of them also believe you'll go to hell if you don't follow their rules.

I agree suicide isn't a sin. I won't go into theological debates about whether Jesus committed suicide .. But it is hard not to be afraid of hell when you've been exposed to that belief .. took me a while with the help of an internet site to get over it.

Interesting thought. Certainly when I used to be a Christian part of my motivation for 'obeying God' was fear of going to hell if I didn't do what I was told. And that fear was certainly a good part of the reason why I didn't attempt suicide during my breakdown.

It's understandable if you believe in God to be afraid of going to hell if you commit suicide, whether there is proof or not.

I believe that people who suicide, will go to heaven. The evilness and pain in which people can have inflicted upon them by society, is unbearable. I'm thinking about me at the moment while I write this. Paranoia is making me very ill right now.
