If sex didn't exist?

#1
Can you imagine how many problems it would solve if sex didn't exist? I mean, the way we come into the world. What if men and women were 'equal' down there? Oh yeah, puberty was a really fun time in my life. I bet it was for you girls also?

I just look at it that is causes so much crap. All these games men and women play, just the whole thing. Why? And I know what some of you are thinking... "Sex is a wonderful and beautiful thing created by GOD", ya ya ya whatever. What about; rape, necro, incest, abuse, accident births, money spent dealing, embarrassment, insecurity, guilt, shame, blame, confusion, sex crimes, porn and it's multi-billion dollar industry, and last but not least, Subway Jared(remember him?) Ya, so I see your 'sex' is such a beautiful thing.. NOT.

Do you know what it's like to be attached to something either on or in your body that you don't like? For life?! Although I hate it, I think a God or a creator intentionally did it that way because he knew what it would do to us, by design. That's what I think, and what a 'wonderful' design it was... thanks.

In case anyone is wondering, I'm not dissing reproduction. I'm just thinking out of box on, 'Really? THIS is how we come into the world?' It makes me feel like an animal overall, and I don't like that. I don't want to be 'an animal', I want to grow past that into something more. Does that make sense to anyone? It just seems so ridiculous to me, from a 'Grand Creator' such as God. Who knows, maybe he just enjoys a good laugh or peep show. Whatever it is, it'd probably be closer to the truth.

I feel sad that for men it’s a physical medical needs and for women it’s not. Puts to much pressure on women and for men it’s like a medical thing like breathing they have to release or it causes them internal medical physical ailments . I think world would be in more harmony if both sexes were equal

Isn't it? In my experience it's just as important for women as it is men. There's no medical reasons why men or women have to have sex. It's just choice. What about people who are asexual, priests, monks, nuns or just people who don't want it? They don't have medical problems because of it.

Speaking as a woman in her 50s who experienced childhood sexual abuse and a violent rape as a teenager I still want and need sex. I enjoy the connection between us. I don't believe in any gods but I do believe sex is a wonderful thing when it's between the right people.

I love sex, one of the few aspects of schizoid personality I do not fit. There is no reproductive, emotional part to me, just fun getting my rocks off.

I hate sex - it's too much of a chore. I never get an orgasm or feeling good part of it. But I miss the emotional connection and the feeling of being wanted. Confused as usual but right now I would love to find a guy who wasn't into sex. Unfortunately I have run into too many men that 's all they want.

It’s a medical proven statement that a man physically needs to release and egaculate more so than the female need .its a proven medical fact that a male builds up there Hormoans that creates aggression where as women who build up hormones doesn’t lead to aggressive it leads to sexy behaviours

Ejaculation has some benefits, but it's not a need.

Feel like they have achieved something? No, it has similar medical benefits as a man orgasming, stress relief and stuff like that. There *may* be a slight reduced risk in prostate cancer for men, which obviously wouldn't apply to women.

Someone yesterday or the day before just prompted me to mention the following about myself and now I'll mention it again, here; that my desire is to evolve into pure Intellect and float through the ether. This has actually been a theme in my life for years. Just last week I was trying to make it my tagline but the allowed number of characters wasn't enough.

I don't feel about our human state exactly like you feel. Infact there is much I could elaborate on to clarify. and maybe it is obvious already from things I've been saying recently in various posts. But at the same time as finding our "human/life" condition to be too uncomfortable for me, I believe I have found a way to seek and find some comfort. Only thing is it involves posing as an extraterrestrial on an emotional support site, while experimenting with the idea in a few ways on my own first, and then tapping into my courage supply in order to take theory into practice and become the real person I should have been all along. I just don't know where my courage is.

I also realize that this is turning out to be just an earthly step towards becoming that floating pure Intellect I so long to be. When they say "life is a journey", it well may be that our feelings about "sex" or "sexuality" or whichever aspect you use to consider the discomfort that we share is something shared by many who struggle daily in search of a way to do this thing called living. Being open, honest, compassionate, supportive and kind are tools we might attach ourselves to to help process things. Where we end up is anybody's guess. Conforming to our nature may be anybody's guess as well.

There's been much more scientific research on male orgasm than on female orgasm - I guess science is still a male dominated area then.

There was a large study carried out over two decades indicated that there is a link between ejaculation and a lower prostate cancer risk. But the study has since been shown to be flawed because it relied solely on self reported data from the participants which cannot be proven or corroborated.

Other than that the medical benefits of male ejaculation are the same as women's - it produces endorphins which make us feel good (possibly improving our mental health and motivation), it may improve our immune system, slightly improve cardiovascular health due to the physical demands of sexual intercourse and the orgasm itself, it's thought that it may improve cognitive function as we age. For women it also helps strengthen our pelvic floor, increases blood flow to the vagina which can reduce menopausal discomfort in the area and it can also relieve the pain of menstrual cramps.

So yeah, there are thought to be some small physical benefits from orgasm in both men and women but the main benefit is in reducing stress levels and improving our mental health. Wow, we all ought to be doing more of this :)

This part checks out too. That's why it's always nice, whenever one witnesses a female orgasm, to present her with a small trophy or engraved plaque, or at least a ribbon. After all it's only human nature to desire recognition for, and take pride in, one's achievements

When they can after washing ironing working and seeing the kids to bed
Well of course, the modern woman has so much on her plate, it's a wonder she can find the time to orgasm at all. That's why it's such an achievement.

This is not 100% how it is. That I feel compelled to even mention it is the proof. Hiding in shame now is the natural response when rescue is what is really needed. But the body might try to fight off rescue. If only sex didn't exist!

Sex itself can be either enjoyable or not for anyone. As you say it is swathed in all sorts of emotions, memories, guilt, love, shame etc. All of those things are buried deep in our consciousness. If our experiences had been different we might feel entirely different - of course we'll never know for sure because we can't take back those experiences to see if it would make a difference.
The physiological effect of the act itself would remain the same as it is purely a physiological effect. But our emotions around it could counteract any natural endorphins we could produce.

Of course, I'm just hypothesising as I'm not a medical or psychological professional. But there is little research into this, maybe because our emotions can't be effectively or accurately measured and these play a vital role in our enjoyment, or not, of sex.
