    Tripping on the egg shells-
    I so often tiptoe through
Finding you are not so calm
And lack the patients I once knew.

    You used to understand me
You used to sooth my nerves
But now even my simple breathing-
    Is something too absurd.

Interesting! I like how the last two lines can indicate that the narrator's breathing is 'something absurd' to just the narrator, or the narrator and the other person, and the feeling that you are lighter than an egg shell, and it is an obstacle that can send you to the ground.
