Yea, that's totally why my dad couldn't get a girlfriend at 65... oh wait.... he did. :P

Give yourself a break. People grow older, it happens, it doesn't mean you get ugly, its all part of the aging process. I already have some greys, and I am quite sure I will be going bald in the next 10 years or so (don't tell Auri) but age isn't ugly.

Life happens, age happens. Im just over 30 and I think my dad could still outrun me if we raced, though I think Im finally starting to reach the point where it would be a close call. He has a girlfriend, a lovely hyper dog they give regular walks to, and is generally living a decent life, he is in his mid 60s.

Age means much less now than it used to even a few decades ago. If you keep in shape and are a little lucky, age wont really start to hit for another 20 years.

I have a close old friend n he messaged me this "idk where or how I'm gonna meet a nice sweet lady, they're just forever in my dreams" and he loves this girl

I'm just sitting in my room dwelling on why i'm alone n it feels like there's no one out there for me maybe it's just my fate and i have to accept it

It is rare for me to reply to threads, but I will post this link for you, buddy:
. That is the full version of the song of the aforementioned link of the woman that you posted in the thread.

The simple truth is that people arent going to flock to you or make the effort. You gotta do the effort first, learn from your mistakes and most importantly get yourself out there

But it can be so awkward especially if they say they have a partner and it seems like everyone has someone cus of my age so that makes my chances slim

Theres a lot you can do to improve both yourself and your situation, but nothing will certainly happen if you stay in your room, dwelling on things.
I agree with @Just_a_guy about this.

If you can try to improve your mental and physical health as much as possible, that will probably make you happier directly, and also make you more appealing to a potential partner.

If you get out more and put yourself in situations where you can meet someone, that will increase your chances of being in a relationship. It's tough to meet someone if you stay inside your home all day, unless you meet someone online, or someone introduces you to someone.
