When you have depression do you find that your immune system is also shot?

I catch any cold going, any stomach bug, any infection that is going around..I've only just got rid of a cold and chest infection and now I have tonsilities. I have tried all remedies, immune system booters but nothing is working. Is my body telling me its to tired to fight?

yeah, it is very possible. your emotional state does reflect on your physical state and vice versa. its exhausting being emotional all the time and that could be why you are tired & run down, our minds are a very powerful force and we can see it by making just little changes in our thinking and attitude.

or... it could be this crap weather we are having. i cant seem to get better either, if its not one thing its another and im so tired.

    It's an hormonal thing.
When you're depressed you produce more cortisol, an hormon that shuts down your immun system when its peak is too long.
I think we all can observe it.

I hope you'll get better or less bad soon
