OK. I know you've watched them in the middle of the night when you can't sleep. What do you think is the sleaziest infommercial?

I'll start off by voting for "Girls Gone Wild".

The one with Kevin Trudeau, where he sells that diet book...I read that once you get the book, it tells you to get these injections at the doctor's office that cost like 50 bucks a week. Yeah, that's feasible. I'll get right on that as soon as I get access to my trust fund. Also, they have a news theme, where there is a "reporter" talking about how the lines are jammed for his "show" (which does not exist) every time Kevin Trudeau is on (this infomercial is presented as something similar to a Larry King interview). HEY. YOU DON'T HAVE A REAL SHOW, DICK. Are the "telephone lines" you are talking about really some poorly thrown-together wires that you hastily fashioned in your one-room apartment using aluminum and string?

Yea, Peanut. That, and the one where the guy with the slicked back hair is selling some kind of stuff to flush out your colon. According to him, it cures everything from cancer to wrinkles.

What about the Tempur Pedic sleep system. That NASA material that they used to make a bed. I've seen/heard about it so many times that now I want one. Those commercials are on every night.

Only worthwhile thing NASA ever did...oh, besides spending billions to invent the pen that writes upside-down in anti-gravity...the joke is that the Russians just used a pencil :)

It's actually pretty genius to run an ad about a better sleep system in the middle of the night. Anyone watching it obviously has trouble sleeping...

Surprisingly enough, as many times as I've seen it, I only recently drew that conclusion...

The mind works in strange ways.

LIES! http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Space_Pen

But anyway I just watched the magic bullet infomercial and remembered I had one in the house. Its great for making any sort of solid turn into a liquid, not so great for chopping/dicing stuff. Unless you like the meat in your omelet to be runnier then the egg.

GREAT. NASA didn't even do that...God they SUCK!

Anyway, I have the bullet too, and yes it liquefies everything. But it's good for making sauces. I also like the juicer attachment.
