*I think I did this poem the same day as the previous one called Hate*

Like the vines that cling to vacant walls
My apathy barely clings to the walls of my heart
I close my eyes to make everything disappear
The loud drums in my head bring me back
    But I'm still torn apart

Feeling the need to beat myself down
Feeling the urge to scream till my voice dies
Feeling the urge to shatter my soul
Feeling the need to crawl inside myself and hide

My soul keeps trying to bring me back to even ground
My will keeps trying to breathe and escape
My self awareness has faded into my darkness
There is no easy way out of this maze
