    Life seemed too hard,
    too hard to hold on

    Until I came upon,
You at the edge of dawn.

I saw you walk by and I stopped and stared
At moonlit strands of midnight hair.
Falling around you, keeping me ensnared.

One day later, I ask you out,
Two months later, we nearly phased-out
3 years later, I had no doubt.

I find myself beside you 10 years on,
pondering on the journey we have forgone
And the time I met you at the edge of dawn.

So ten years on, with you by my side
I find myself still impressed with your eyes.
Your hair, your face and your beautiful smile.
I still love you with all my heart,
    Je’t aime my dear sweetheart.

Cheesy right? Don't bash on me too hard about this, it's my first (relatively) long poem. Every comment counts =D

"Tu es l'amour de ma vie" sounds the best because french sounds better (My opinion of course). So I like French. Shoot me.

Thanks for commenting, cause I get paid in comments (Raises your self-esteem pretty high =D )

Just a quicky, did you know what "Phased-Out" meant? It was a made up word from "phase-out" and probably used out of context.
