    Hi there,

Do people have any inspirational pieces of music that helps them?

When i'm struggling to pull myself out of bed on dark days, I listen to this: From the Bruce Willis film Unbreakable. By the brilliant composer James Newton Howard.

Try Beethovens 6th and 7th symphonies. Theyre easy to follow and create a very cosy mood. In a deep anxiety attack they might keep one down on earth

    Somebody’s Prayin’
Somebody’s praying, I can feel it.
    Somebody’s praying for me.
    Mighty hands are guiding me,
To protect me from what I can’t see.
Lord I believe, Lord I believe
    That somebody’s praying, for me.

Angels are watching, I can feel it.
    Angels are watching over me.
There’s many miles ahead ‘til I get home,
Still I’m safely kept before your thrown.
‘Cause Lord I believe, Lord I believe,
Your angels are watching over me.

Well, I’ve walked through barren wilderness,
When my pillow was a stone.
And I’ve been through the darkest caverns,
Where no light had ever shown.
Still I went on ‘cause there was someone,
Who was down on their knees.
And Lord, I thank you for those people
Praying all this time, for me.

Somebody’s praying, I can feel it.
    Somebody’s praying for me.
    Mighty hands are guiding me,
To protect me from what I can’t see.
Lord I believe, Lord I believe,
    Somebody’s praying for me.

    From A Distance

The world looks blue and green
And the snow capped mountains white,
    From a distance.
    The ocean meets the stream
And the eagle takes to flight.

    From a distance,
    There is harmony
And it echoes through the land.
    It’s the voice of hope,
    It’s the voice of peace,
It’s the voice of every soul.

    From a distance,
    We all have enough
And no one is in need.
    And there are no guns,
    No bombs and no disease,
    No hungry mouths to feed.
    From a Distance,
    We are instruments
    Marching in a common band,
    Playing songs of hope,
    Playing songs of peace
That are the songs of every soul.

    God is watching us,
    God is guiding us
    And showing the way.
    Not from a distance
    But from within.

    From a distance,
    You look like my friend,
Even though we are at war.
    From a distance,
    I just cannot comprehend
    What all this fighting’s for.
    From a distance,
    There is harmony
And it echoes through the land.
    It’s the hope of hopes
    And the love of loves
That’s in the heart of every soul.

    God is watching us,
    God is guiding us
    And showing the way.
    Not from a distance
    But from within.

Richard Moult's Celestial King For A Year.
Or mostly, anything Richard Moult musically does.
It's got such a warm sound to it that it usually calms me down and makes me smile, often before falling asleep.

I was just listening to Johnny Cash's cover of Gordon Lightfoot's "If You Could Read My Mind" (then I stopped it because those feeling would slow down my productivity this morning ... but I'm sure I'll listen to it again within a couple days).

Every rose has its thorn -POISON

We both lie silently still in the dead of the night
Although we both lie close together we feel miles apart inside
Was it something I said or something I did?
Did my words not come out right?
Though I tried not to hurt you
    Though I tried
But I guess that's why they say

    [Chorus:]
    Every rose has its thorn
Just like every night has its dawn
Just like every cowboy sings his sad, sad song
    Every rose has its thorn

    Yeah it does

I listen to our favorite song playing on the radio
Hear the DJ say love's a game of easy come and easy go
But I wonder does he know?
Has he ever felt like this?
And I know that you'd be here right now
If I could have let you know somehow
    I guess

    [Chorus]

Though it's been a while now
I can still feel so much pain
Like a knife that cuts you the wound heals
But the scar, that scar remains

I know I could have saved a love that night if I'd known what to say
Instead of makin' love we both made our separate ways
And now I hear you found somebody new
And that I never meant that much to you
To hear that tears me up inside
And to see you cuts me like a knife
    I guess

    [Chorus]
