I know in this country we don't get much sun but the last few days are hellish for me. As I hate the heat it makes me very anxious and panicky.
My partner is 20 miles away and can't get to see her due to the weather and making me very irritable bad tempered ect, it's not her fault i know but she's getting it all.

It's anybody like like this..

Yes, I'm identical. I hate the sun being this bright and the weather being so hot. Usually, with depression, people prefer the sun, but it tends to magnify things for me and it's anything but relaxing, I find. Really puts me on edge, too.

YES, me.

I can't cope with the heat, it makes me grumpy, irritable, grouchy and snappy. I also get stressed because I know my skin will burn so easily no matter how much cream I plaster on myself (I am a redhead), also the sweat and ughhhh so I try to stay indoors as much as possible during the short heat spells. It also makes me feel weird and alienated because of everyone wanting to be out in it and enjoying it.

I sort of relate, but my aversion to the sun is more based on the fact that I'm easily prone to heat exhaustion and heat stroke. Sunglasses help with the brightness hurting my eyes, not with the temperature though.

Could you and your partner use Skype to see each other instead? Also, maybe she could come to you instead of you going to her?

Personally I find the bright sun hurts my eyes. I don't tan - I burn. And the heat is exhausting and oppressive. At least when it's cold you can put layers on and do things to keep yourself warm but when it's too hot - there's a limit to what you can do. So yeah, I'm not keen on summer either.

Hi, yes. I love the sunshine but the heat is a bit much for me. We end up going out in the evenings to avoid this. I'm grateful for the sunshine though.

The heat really drains me, and yeah it can make me cranky. I swear it feels like I’m walking around in an invisible body of water. So you’re not alone. Fall is my favorite season but I don’t mind winter. I love to bundle up and snuggle under covers.
