Is it normal to spit food out after eating it.

So I'm not sure whether this is normal or not. I'm quite strong and physically healthy, but I've got a bit of a sweet tooth (huge understatement). I bake three times a week, and I really like baked goods.
Since I prefer my nutrition protein and fiber rich. When I eat a sweet mostly, I spit it out into the sink and put warm water through it so it dissolves and I don't get as much sugar and calories in my system. They're also usually cloying and I have to work hard already to keep my abs.
Is this normal? Surely most people would realise this and start to do it? I sometimes throw up but only after a big meal. I just can't stand how non-sharp I feel., for that it isnt a diet thing. When I'm hungry, I just feel keener.
Thanks for y'all's help in advance.

No, that doesn't sound healthy. You should let yourself have a small treat sometimes. That sounds like it could easily lead to a binge/purge kind of behavior, and that's not a good road to go down. *hug

This is actually a known thing called chew and spit which is a precursor to anorexia. I looked it up when I started doing it. I don’t do it often but I do control everything I eat and won’t eat anything high in calories. I usually do it with bread when I’m craving to eat it. It’s not pleasant really but it helps with the craving and you don’t feel guilty for eating as you haven’t swallowed. So you are not alone.

An alternative to eating and spitting out might be to serve yourself a really nice big slice of pie or cake or whatever it is and just have one single spoonful of it, and then throw it in the garbage. This way you could enjoy the pleasure of eating it and have nowhere near the amount of calories and fat, while avoiding the unpleasantness of spitting it out.

I do bake quite a bit, so its mostly with that. A possibility, tbh, altho I don't live alone so it'd still have to go down the sink sadly.

Ah right. I've struggled with body image a bit but I'm in a pretty good place rn, what with gym and that. I'm glad I'm not alone in this! Thanks :D

I know, but I really hate feeling not hungry. I just feel so much sharper when I need to eat lmao.
