    The raveings of my insides
    Are crying out once more
Telling my patience to step aside
So they can take the floor.

Its the craveings that make me hide
The reasons I want you more
Drunk in a funk, Im weak and I suck
I just want to knock on your door...

    I hate myself for needing
    Anyone at all...
    I hate myself for begging
The phone to let you call...

You spoke to me and I snapped at you
There wasn't much that I could do
    Responsibility dictates why
You had to go to bed tonight.

Its not your fault its only me
    Its just my insecurities
    Awake again attacking me
Why cant you love me free?

  2. Once again you've named and nailed down that demon, hungry (insatiable) vulnerability...

Your gift of expression is endless and astounding.:eek:hmy:

I hate the feelings that eat away at you inside, but love the poems that come from your despair and frustration.

Its frustruateing to have people tell you that you understand some things so well, even go as far to say that I have named their own deamons inside....

So why cant I control mine?

  5. That m'dear, is THE $64,000 question...

I suppose that just like one cannot see ones own aura, we see and recognize in others what is within us. And hmmmm, this lack of instant vision regarding the self does not make anyone less insightful - just that one is too close to the picture. I don't think it's a sin - a shortcoming - just an occupational hazard of being human. It's ever-so-hard to forgive that in ourselves, wot?

(*I DO wish we could be more gentle with ourselves...)
