It usually takes me about 2 weeks to fially talk about my attempts and I thnk it's time to talk about my lastest one.

First off Id like to say not much planning goes into my attempts. And they are unique.

Two weeks ago I was coming back from Wal Mart and suddenly felt the urge to open the door and jump out.I sat there thinking how I was going to make it look like an accident. With my mom driving I dropped my phone next to the door and pretended I could reach it and took off my seat belt. After that I hit the door lock and fell unto the door handle. The rest is a "blur".Until I was on the side of the road face down. From there I was taken to the hospital and unfortunatly only have a full body scrape and a concusion.I unfortunatly lived, but it did look and was said to be an accident.

This is not the first time I have had an urge to jump out of somethng in attempt to suicide...as I once jmped out of a 2nd strory window.

Never ask me for help on how to die.

I don't really try to suicide it just happens.Hopefully I will get it right soon

since your attempts just happen, mine do to typically, but when its like that it is important to realize you are in a depressed state, and at that time you should not be making these kjind of decisions.

also, suicide isnt the answer, i know it seems like the answer, ive been there but try to not act on impulse

ive talked to you before, i know that and out of these impulsive times you have said you dont want to die, so when in these impulsive times try to remember that...i know its hard and i know it seems impossible, but we can work on a way to get your mind off it during these times and itll hopefully help

Please don't do this again Travis. You're only 14 and have so much to live for.

Is this forum for young teens? Seems like a lot of suicidal young people are on here, where are the parents? Don't they monitor their kids?

SF is for anyone who is in need of support because he/she is having suicidal thoughts or going through a crisis. The parents? I dunno. There are lots of adults on here, but for the younger people? I suppose it depends on the situation. Besides, there are probably ways to get around monitoring.

If your parents are constantly monitoring you at 14, that's probably a huge contributing factor to your suicide ideation.

And when a parent of a 14 year old boy is checking what he searching on the Internet they aren't looking for a Suicide crisis forum....Just Saying.

yea, my parents got me my own computer as a graduation present from primary school(got it when I was 13-ish). I don't think they really mind what I access on the net. Maybe they just got me my own computer so they wouldn't get so many viagra emails? Probly just said to much but oh well .

A lot of parents have no clue how to deal with these kinds of things. Sometimes the kids just don't like talking to their family about it(me). One day maybe we'll open up to them, it just massively depends on how much we want to tell them.

Kids are maturing a lot earlier these days and it's not always for the best. The hormones etc can basicly make you go through an emotional spasm which is pretty hard at times. The depression/mental illness could be clinical or situational, so everyone here can come from extremely various backgrounds.

In a way, the internet has let me connect with people I would otherwise have never met.

Hope you're feeling better travis :)

Before I made my first attempt, I was having impulses. I had smoke breaks at work on the 4th floor parking garage and had to stop walking over to the edge to watch what was happening out on the street.

At that time it scared me and I couldn't figure out why they were happening. I didn't realize how my feeling trapped by my circumstances was getting to me.

I'm out of that trap now, but healing takes time.

Do you have a therapist you can talk to?
