What is your favorite candy as a treat?
Hmm, that's a tricky one, cos i've got a really bad sweet tooth, so i love a bunch of different kinds of candy. I'd probably have to say that a regular bar of Dairy Milk or Galaxy milk chocolate are my ultimate favourites though. Chocolate is probably my favourite sweet overall, and they're my favourite chocolate.

I love all candy unfortunately for my health. At the moment it's chocolate Twirls. One of my all time favourites is chocolate eclairs, melt in the mouth or chew, very versatile. Can't beat a tin of Quality Street as they have eclairs in as well as green triangles and other delights 😊 Perhaps my ultimate favourite is Thorntons luxury chocolates, real melt in the mouth stuff!

Thank you for the tag @Lisa the Goatgirl. Oh dear this is a rough one for me. I'm working on not giving in to my sweet tooth but so far haven't made as much progress as I should. ... So my favorite at the moment is from a local company which makes a confection involving caramel. And since @Road to Nowhere mentioned real strawberry shortcake - which is amazingly good made with strawberries from the garden - that made me think about my favorite homemade treat which is my grandmother's recipe for apple crisp with a scoop of whipped cream.

I have a few Dove dark chocolate squares every day so I don’t think that counts as a treat. I’m fond gummy candy of all types, and the best gummy bears are at Sprouts (think Whole Foods but not as bougie). A package of peach rings or sour gummy life savers also works.
My wife was a cashier at Sprouts. Her first day, I got some muffins and was going to go through her line. I looked at the registers to see which one she was at and got confused when I didn’t see her.

She had left the register for something or other and the manager stopped her on the way back to warn her about the guy (me) looking at the registers like he was going to rob the place.

She said who I was, and that manager had it in for her the whole time she worked there for making her look dumb. No one heard her except Jessica, and no one cared except the manager herself, but she was embarrassed and needed someone to take it out on.

Defiantly a more difficult question. Especially when one would think it's a small one, yet also fun @Angie. Thank you for opening.

i would sorta agree with @SillyOldBear. Butterfingers used to be my fave of all time till they changed their formula. i guess that was a good thing though because i ate them all too often.
my favorite treat is ice-cream... pretty much any ice-cream.
my favorite candy/treat (i can't eat much sugar) is Hi-Chew. Especially the ones with fruit in them!

Tysm for opening a cafe today Angie, and for tagging me too :) Fun theme too, love it.

My fave “candy” is chocolate - Lindt almond chocolate bars, the crispy ones, and the Lindt red ball chocolates are delicious too. I love the Kinder Bueno chocolate bars as well.

Oh no that sounds horribly petty! Not to mention that it was the manager’s mistake, albeit an understandable one, since she didn’t know who you were at first.

The manager having a grudge over that would imply that your wife is somehow responsible for her mgr’s actions, which is absurd.
I will say that I love the checkout clerks at Sprouts. They are always so nice to me, even though I don’t always have my act together and have to ask questions usually.

I can’t even look at the Kinder Bueno bars without getting a sugar rush, lol. I have been known to buy a large bag of them, with every intention of making it last at least a week. It’s usually gone within 48 hours because I can’t help myself around them!
