[Reality]

Lindt ball chocolate around Christmas, or just a coffee crisp bar.
Lately my favourite thing is vanilla ice cream with maple syrup
I've got to get a handle on it, i'm gaining weight and diabetic but when stressed out that ice cream is what I crave

Oh no that sounds horribly petty! Not to mention that it was the manager’s mistake, albeit an understandable one, since she didn’t know who you were at first.

I will say that I love the checkout clerks at Sprouts. They are always so nice to me, even though I don’t always have my act together and have to ask questions usually.

There are places where the employees seem to genuinely not hate their jobs. I’ve done enough foodservice and retail to tell the difference between that and false enthusiasm, I think. I prefer doing business there. Sprouts is one, the only reason I don’t shop at the one near my house is that it reminds me too much of her.

Agreed, sorry (Gonz) I had meant to do a reply to this too saying that manager sounds horrible for sure, like wow, so punishing, for absolutely no good reason at all! Some people are so immature, and at times way too proud, it is very sad.

I can’t even look at the Kinder Bueno bars without getting a sugar rush, lol. I have been known to buy a large bag of them, with every intention of making it last at least a week. It’s usually gone within 48 hours because I can’t help myself around them!

Lol! Yup, exactly, I always intend to make them “last” too, but they often don’t. If I “hide” them away then sometimes that helps a bit, but ya they are hard to resist for sure :p

My favorite kind of candy is chocolate, but I like it to be solid chocolate, not other fillers or ingredients like nuts and dark chocolate is always best of all for me.

But if I were to name some, I'd go with European-style jellies (not the pectin or gum we mostly have in the US)

It's hard to say, I like most kinds of chocolate and candy. I like Reese's and Butterfinger and Heath.

I’m not into candy that much but I’m a total chocolate addict, especially love Dairy Milk and TimTams

If you don't mind - where do you buy them @FFurry ? I'm back in the US now but used to occasionally find them at Aldi.

Mostly at a couple of local Slavic or "European-style" deli and grocery stores, but it's all Russians 😂. They have a small but good selection of products, which I guess is what they like or can import.

I think Tim Tams can be bought at World Market @Gonz . Seriously I had to look away from them at the sweets aisle in the grocery store in Austraila, because there are about a dozen varieties if not more.

I once was in the factory that made Necco wafers and the little button candy. I wonder if it is still in existence. It is about 40 miles away from me in the heart of Boston so i won't ever know.

the original necco wafer factory closed but someone bought the recipe, i don't know if they bought the factory, what i do know is they got expensive when they came back lol
