Hey Angie, thanks for opening a cafe for today. I’m doing pretty good overall thanks, sorry to hear you’re a bit frazzled but wishing you lotsa luck in your semester

Cool and fun theme, here’s my answers and some tags too

I pick bath, cos it’s more relaxing. I rarely have showers.

Bar soap, usually use Ivory or Dove. I feel like bar soap lasts much longer than body wash, and lathers much better too.

Used to sometimes moisturize after bathing, I haven’t for years though. Maybe I should start again.

Sorry to hear you're frazzled with school @Angie I remember those days. I don't think I could go back to school but I'll always be learning.
Bath or shower? Shower; I haven't had a bath since I was in my early teens and I'm in my sixties.
Body wash or bar soap? What brand do you use? Bar soap but craft fair soap so no brand; whatever I deem smells nice.

Shower. I also turn off the water as much as possible.

Part of that is water conservation, but I also know that soaking is bad for me. If I soak in a tub, I'll feel lethargic afterward. My guess is that I'm not the only person who experiences that.

Thanks for the tag @cymbele . I shower for day to day hygiene. I do like an epsom salts bath here and there. My therapist said that it’s a good way to get magnesium since it absorbs through the skin. It also makes my skin feel really soft and luxurious.

Body Wash, Aveeno sensitive skin. No fragrance and less drying than other soaps. Moisturizer at all times. I live with very little humidity and I have dry, sensitive skin. Anytime I so much as think about a shower my skin gets scratchy.

I use lavender soap and moisturize once in a while. We only have a shower in our rancher. But, I would luv to soak in a tub with bubbles and candles.

Shower. My OCD doesn't like sitting in a pool of my germs.

Body wash, also cos of the OCD. I tend to just use whatever i can find at a decent price.

I moisturise my face, hands and arms, yeah. Those areas all tend to get very dry otherwise.

I always take showers because I don't have a bathtub. I always use body wash, and I don't always moisturize after a shower. It really depends on how dry my skin is.

Shower, soap (whatever brand was on sale), lotion. Covid changed my timing from morning to night, since I didn't worry about smelling while stuck at home 😂

Shower with Dr. Bronner’s soap (a different scent each day to keep from going nose-blind). I use this on my hair as well, with a bit of conditioner as needed (usually once or twice a week).

Also Tom’s of Maine fennel flavored toothpaste (I like mint fine on its own, but combined with artificial sweeteners it makes me nauseated, gum is unpleasant too).

And the same brand for antiperspirant, which I like because they smell like real things (unlike most men’s) but aren’t perfumey (like most women’s, also changing scents daily for the same reason as the soap).

Moisturize with store-brand Aveeno as needed (almost every day sometimes several times a day during winter, less often during summer).

Shower for me. No bath in my unit!

I use soap, which is always the cheapest I can find in the supermarket.

I must admit, I have started exfoliating with gloves. However, I do not moisturize at all.

Whatever, people still assume I'm early 30s despite nearly being 50, so I'm doing something right.

Bath definitely and I always take my once a year bath whether I need it or not just like in olden days.

Bar soap. I used to use more home made lye soap which is actually not bad likely shown in TV or movies, but making it is a chore I don't care for as I get older and lazier. Irish Spring is quite good and smells nice, so that is what I use the most.

Do you moisturize after your shower or bath?

I have never done any moisturizing, just drying off.

I could easily live in the shower if given the opportunity. In the dark. I honestly forget the brand of bodywash I use, as sad as that is.

Shower. Sitting in a tub feels awkward and uncomfortable.

Body wash or bar soap? What brand do you use?

Body wash, usually. OXY Maximum Strength Acne Cream Cleanser for acne prone areas. Otherwise, I’ve been using Suave Milk & Honey Body Wash. The fragrance is prominent yet pleasant.

Do you moisturize after your shower or bath?

Yeah. Acne treatments for me make use of a moisturizer necessary. However, I’ve come to enjoy the process, and my skin just feels better with it on. Also, I can’t go on without smearing my lips with Vaseline. If there’s any hint of dryness, it’s over.
