Jealous of people that sleep normally

    Grrr... Just a vent.

    I know my co-workers, will call to ask me to work some shift at 11 am tomorrow. I've been trying to contact them but with no responses. (Their non-response now lets me justify me turning off the phone.)

    Last week: 23 hours of sleep in 7 days.
    Then I got some catch up sleep.
    But it's happening again, and each week is worse (horridly less sleep).
    To hope for sleep, I have to know that tomorrow I have no responsibilities (that's what I keep trying to tell my co-workers).
    (I'm already hallucinating from lack of sleep. (A poisonous snake stares me in the face in the context of a desert in ancient Egypt where it is ready to bite...))

    A slithering thing that threatens to ruin my life strangles me.
    All I can ask about my insomnia demons is, "Please, go away."
    I guess I'm too afraid to fall asleep? (But, no, in my opinion, it is that some beings are too strong against me -- some weird fight.)
    Insomnia (and it's effects) is taking a toll on me.

    (I appreciated the Sticky Thread within this forum about "Insomnia advice", though.)

    I never know when I'm going to be able to sleep. It's the pits.
