Just wanted there to be a new cafe for today, no theme (though I do have some ideas lol) cos thought people might just appreciate having a place they can come, hang out and talk about whatever is on your mind.

I’m at the seacoast this weekend. Tomorrow is “work day “. - helping someone with their seasonal cottage. Hopefully they will let me spend a weekend with my sisters in the coming season. Been taking lots of pictures with my regular camera not my phone. Getting ready for taking pictures when I’m in Alaska. Love to all below is a sculpture of a phoenix at the top of a mountain I climbed last week.

I'm in Philadelphia for the weekend. I spent the day on the Amtrak train then took a nap at my hotel room then got a cheesesteak. Tomorrow, my mom and sister are coming out to see me because they live closer to here than where I live. We're going to get lunch at Reading Terminal Market. On Sunday, I'm going to see the Spurs match at the bar with their local supporters club. Then I'm getting the train back home on Monday. No other specific plans; just going to explore probably. I'm not far from Independence Hall and a lot of the other historical stuff, but I'm pretty sure I've seen that on a trip with my family as a kid.

Hi @JMG. Nice to see the café, thank you for tagging me. ☕️ It was great to see the astronauts come back to earth today. 💫

Nothing interesting planned. My work is going along more or less okay. I will enjoy going outside, because the weather is so nice - cool with a few showers. Also, I have veggie seeds to put in the garden box, and want to go for a couple of easy runs.

Not much going on for the weekend except for the house work and cleaning. Watching my little fuzzball cat enjoy the warmer weather and sunning on the patio while taking a nap. So a good lazy, relaxing Saturday today and Sunday tomorrow.

Here’s a picture of a restaurant by the seacoast. It’s a wooden structure of a fisherman catching a lobster which is one of the more common expensive shellfish here. A hundred years ago it was a poor people’s meal now one of expensive meals.

Thanks @JMG ! I have no new plans for the weekend, since I just got back from the weekend 😂 Went into deep country to check out the place I might be retiring to soon, one way or another. I don't know why it's so painful to drive there for 5-6 hours; heck, 20 miles is a snap and I'm already 10% there or so. It's those last 90% of miles that are hard 😂
