looks like Lathyrus pratensis. More commonly known as Meadow Vetchling. Any botanists among us to verify?

I was about to reply Dark when I realized it was therapy time. So here I am now a little later... The leaves look really right in your picture but I'm not so sure about the flowers. Since goldenrod and agrimony are not exactly it too, I'm beginning to wonder if what I saw in the park might be a rare variation of any of these three possibilities. They each have striking similarities and differences.

Yeah! We do need a botanist!!! I'm hoping one shows up soon!

I've searched through two sites specifically under yellow wildflowers and nothing matches.
