Ok, I have to do this. I’ve outstayed my welcome in A Song a Day I feel, and the title bothers me when I post song after song after song

360 is the amount of songs you could post in 24 hours, if the average song is 4 mins long.

Anyone can post anything.. Except Nickelback ;)

    The music was new
    Black polished chrome
    And came over the summer
    Like liquid night
The DJs took pills to stay awake
    And play for seven days

I never heard that one before, awesomeness. :D

I love The Doors, among many other bands. Here's another one of the spoken word type songs that I love by them...

The melody and the way he speaks and everything is so mellow and also energetic to me.

There's another I like called "The Movie", and I like that one too. But I can't post it because of a bad word. Well I don't think it's bad, but still :p

Heyyy :) They're all on An American Prayer, which is (mostly) Jim's poetry readings set to The Doors music. I first heard it 25 years ago and I've loved it ever since. I like The Doors but Jim was a poet in my opinion.. He could definitely sing but the music was his way of getting stuff out there.

Yep his poetry is just pure gold. I love that he put it out there so everyone can still enjoy it.

Yeah that one is awesome. People bitch about the music but I reckon it's perfect.

One time when I was in my early-20s I had the most massive panic attack and the only thing that calmed me down was that album.

The mental health hotlines may as well have this

If you are obsessive compulsive, press 1 repeatedly.

If you are co-dependant, ask someone to press 2 for you.

If you have multiple personalities, press 3,4,5 6.

If you are paranoid, we know who you are and what you want. Stay on the line so we can trace your call.

If you are delusional, press 7, and your call will be transferred to the mother ship.

If you are schizophrenic, listen carefully and a small voice will tell you which number to press.

If you are manic-depressive, it doesn't matter which number you press, no one will answer.

If you are dyslexic, press 96969696969696.

If you have a nervous disorder, please fidget with the hash key until a representative comes on the line.

If you have amnesia, press 8 and state you name, address, phone number, date of birth, social security number, and your mother's and grandmother's maiden names.

If you have post-traumatic stress disorder, slowly and carefully press 000.

If you have short-term memory loss, please try your call again later.

If you have low self-esteem, please hang up. All of our operators are far too busy to talk to you.

LOL. I know, I was thinking only a couple aren't me. But there isn't one that says "get so angry you hang up, throw the phone across the room, yell obscenities, then collapse on the floor crying."
