Good morning or afternoon. Working from home today and pretty happy its Friday. Not too hung over after 4 bay breezes last night so I wanted to kick-off the weekend with you guys.

I googled some questions and added some of my own. Enjoy some coffee or tea or even a mimosa or bloody Mary.

What's everyone up to this weekend? I'm already waiting for Spring just to walk outside. Soooo

It's such a strange thing to try to expain to people. . . but I suppose you could say that I won the lottery by my being adopted. However, to me (ok?) it is like, if everything else in your life was otherwise identical, or the exact same (in terms of friends / family / where you grew up, etc. etc. etc.).. but for the first 8 _/(or)/ 9 months of your life. And, I'm sure we can all remember those -oh, so very well! : )

Probably a mountain, and I haven't the foggiest clue as to why!!

I used to play the trumpet - fairly well.

(back to before. . .) I've never really played any of those, but used to want to try my hand at poker - but for the 'math~?' /the "psych," Might be o.k.!

Definitely prefer being in the driver-seat. Don't enjoy, not being, in control~~~ ; )

I was "adopted" too. With the same family since I was 10 months old. My foster mother loved me unconditionally along with her 2 blood daughters. I understand MBG.

K, baybreeze is cranberry, pineapple juice, vodka and my bartender always gives me a cherry in my drink, he's very bad! 😂

After the whole ordeal with my last Psych course, I decided to take Biology next, so I'll be working on my first Bio assignment this weekend. I figure, these instructors have a fucking problem with me already previously knowing things (and therefore, not citing or referencing them), fine, I'll take a course that I don't know jack shit about instead.

1. Nothing big. Maybe a few dollars once on a scratch-off, I don't even remember. And I do like poker, but never played it for money. Probably should. I'm pretty decent at it, I think.
2. Mountaintop. In a log cabin with a fireplace. As for why...well, the view, obviously, for one thing. It's also far away from other people, which is a nice plus.
3. I haven't quite had the time to work on teaching myself the piano like I wanted to. With my health and school and all the other crap, it just never fit into the schedule. But I still want to learn, and will at some point. My health has been a bit better, so when I get back on track with school and everything, I'll take the day off from schoolwork to practice piano. Also, wouldn't mind learning guitar or drums if I had the opportunity.
4. I don't even know how to drive, and when I tried before, it gave me anxiety like nothing else. I thought I was going too end up crashing into a pole or a car. So yeah, we'll say being driven, for sure. I would still like to learn, though. I'd just probably have to take my Klonopin beforehand
5. With most people, yeah, I find it easy enough. But not so much if I think they're going to judge me for it. But I would assume that's anyone.

I've won the lottery a few times when I used to play it, max was about £2000, plus a couple of wins in a work's sweepstake on the horses. But apart from that, not really.

Mountain or island are equally appealing if it means getting away from society and also being able to take in peaceful views.

3) Do you play an instrument? Which ones would you like to learn if you could?
I started learning how to play the guitar. Perhaps one day I'd go back to it and then perhaps be able to sit in the backgarden and play some Blues.

4) In a car, do you like driving or being driven better?
Driven, I hate driving. I'd rather be relaxing in the back seat, legs stretched out, making merry with the cocktail bar.

5) Do you find it easy to talk about how you're feeling? Does it help you when you do?
No and No, so please don't ask.

Spring is starting to peek an eye out here....the azaleas and bluebonnets are just starting to bloom out..strange to see them quite this early on.
1) I've won some gambling...I'm not a gambler but when going out to the casinos with friends years ago I would sit at the blackjack tables, see if I could keep up with counts..
2) I would live on an tropical island with mountains...Perfect... sounds and smells of the ocean along with the quiet and surround and fauna of the forested inclines..and the views from the heights. And the flowers.....
3) I play the organ. Since age 4. Started out on a Hammond B3
4) I love to drive when in the country and on open roads. I hate city driving, too many goofballs on the road so I don't mind someone else driving when in heavy traffic which is a lot here.
5) I used to but now I no longer enjoy or like talking to others about how I feel, there's no one really asking anymore and the few in my life I don't share deeply with because it usually distances people hearing about issues, challenges, depression etc...unless it's here

The only time worth mentioning was a shared lottery ticket with a friend when we won around 10.000€. Casinos bore me to death.

I like mountains for hiking but I wouldn’t live there. I absolutely love the sea so an island in a warm part of the world sounds nice and I’d want a boat too.

3) Do you play an instrument? Which ones would you like to learn if you could?
I played violin a lifetime ago. I wouldn’t want to learn any instruments because I’m lazy, but I’d love to know how to play pipe organ because those who are able to play fugue have my deepest respect.

4) In a car, do you like driving or being driven better?
I enjoy driving and also like being driven but only by people that actually know what they’re doing.

5) Do you find it easy to talk about how you're feeling? Does it help you when you do?
I can only talk about it with someone who really gives a shit and most important that also shares. Yes it does help. But just me talking doesn’t work so I could never talk to a therapist.

Good day everyone. Today is my day off even though I put in some hours but I was overwhelmed yesterday by the volume of work so i did some time today to relieve the stress. I also had an interview with an HR person about a job which I am interested in but I don't have to jump ship either. So the rest of the day I get to work on cleaning my living space (and laundry)!

1) Did you ever win anything in your life? Do you play the lottery, slot machines or have a favorite table game (craps, black jack, roulette, etc?)
The only thing worthwhile was a $200 gift card to an airline so I used it to fund one of my trips to Western USA.

2) would you rather live on a boat, a mountain or on an island? Why?
I have lived on a mountain and I am a city girl so the isolation drove me crazy when it snowed and I felt alone. So any of the choices as long as I wasn't alone.

3) Do you play an instrument? Which ones would you like to learn if you could?

I don't presently play an instrument but am thinking of voice lessons. I don't know if I''ll ever do it though.

4) In a car, do you like driving or being driven better?
I like to be driven - that way I can play tourist and look out at the various landscapes I go through.

5) Do you find it easy to talk about how you're feeling? Does it help you when you do? Only to certain people do I talk feelings and sometimes it helps. Here at SF I can do it and it helps.

I won a Red Robin (burger chain restaurant) gift card for my family at a local minor league baseball game by playing the game on the video board where they hide something under a cup or whatever and they shuffle the cups around and you have to watch and remember which one it's under. Besides that I only won medals and stuff for like the national French exam or a national language arts exam. I don't really gamble, but I played Powerball once with a few classmates years ago. We pooled some money together to buy some tickets when the jackpot got huge. Obviously we didn't win.

Might be fun to live on a boat, just for a little while.

3) Do you play an instrument? Which ones would you like to learn if you could?
I used to do a lot of music. Mostly viola and bass (both bass guitar and upright bass), but I also played piano, guitar, violin, and some percussion. I also had my grandpa's old trumpet at one point and tried to teach myself to play that. We also had a crappy cello that would hardly stay in tune that we mostly used for decoration, so I tried to learn that but it was hard due to the condition it was in. Would love to learn to play saxophone-- I think that would be really cool. Really I wanna know basically all instruments.

I hate driving. Got myself in a somewhat bad accident years ago and have been scared of it ever since. So I don't drive at all anymore.

5) Do you find it easy to talk about how you're feeling? Does it help you when you do?
It depends on who I'm talking to. It kind of helps but sometimes I just constantly need another hit of validation.

Got $100 on a scratch ticket once. Generally I don't win anything. I go to the casino once in a great while and play scratch tickets or bingo.

An island because I could have it to myself. haha

I never practiced guitar and keyboard enough to become proficient, but I would like to learn them.

Driving, because I don't drive, and I feel that would make me nervous.

Not always because I feel I will be judged unfairly. But it usually does help.

I don't think so, I almost never gambled because I want to get a big pile of money and dive in it like ducks do. Ok not really.

Mountain as long as it isn't too cold. Boat sounds like it would be too small and i would feel all confined. Islands are always full of weird scary things in movies and obviously movies are true.

No but I can use a gaming controller.

Being driven, but even better is not being in a car at all.

Not super easy but it is slowly getting easier over the years. Sometimes helps and sometimes makes things worse.

Hahaha. If i were to play the lottery I would end up owing more than I paid for the ticket - that's how shitty my luck is.

Ha! That reminds me - (fondly...) of my cat, I'd had about ten years ago, whom would love to go outside at all times of the year on one of those harnesses with which you describe. : ) Even now, provided that it wasn't 8 million degrees below zero with high winds, he'd jump/plop right down on the ground and start wiggling/writhing his little black body on each side as he played in the snow! (he was a black cat~ apparently, due to the supersitition: they're not all that easy to "give away," are often FREE). Cooper was his named, and I thank you for reminding me of him... I then moved out into the country for a bit, and his insatiability with the great outdoors only increased! May you travels and adventures be anywhere near as uplifting spiritually as mine were. Though, it was like clockwork; every day, 5:30 a.m. He's ready: You'd better be, too ~ or else? ;D
