Coffee, I only started drinking 10 years ago. Sometime within the last few, I've begun to add a little splash of milk.

Tea (green, mostly). I only began to drink, sometime within the past 5 years. Was told, though, that I have been drinking it all wrong
-or preparing it, all-wrong, a couple of years ago: by someone on here! ;)

I can't make these Executive Decisions yet, this earliy in the A.M. :D //_but I will be back!! (unless, I for_get^)

Tysm for posting a cafe for today Angie, I had been thinking of maybe trying to post one again in the next day or 2 if none were posted, glad I won’t have to worry about it now though tbh lol ;) Tysm for tagging me too @MisterBGone I appreciate it a lot :)

I drink tea only, I don’t like coffee at all and most likely never will. I tried to like it since pretty much everyone seems to think it’s so great, but ya no success with that one at all lol.

The teas I drink are mostly herbal, faves being green and chamomile. Sometimes I enjoy Earl Gray too, as long as it’s decaf. I got addicted to it as a teen, so don’t want to become addicted to it again lol :p With Earl Gray I put milk and sugar in it, always. Too bitter on its own.

Hope you and everyone else here are well too. Christmas is usually ok for me overall, only thing that causes stress/anxiety with it is the family get together stuff. Decided I can’t put myself through that this year, so just gonna have a peaceful, quiet and low-key Xmas with my mom and kitty instead. Hoping we can see my sis the weekend AFTER Xmas, when all the Xmas craze has calmed down a bit. Think it will be better for everyone that way. I wish you and everyone else on SF a very Merry Christmas though (I will probably be on here at “some point” on both Xmas eve and day lol, but I realize some members might be too busy “on those days” to post here) ;):)

Coffee. I like tea too, but i don't think it sits very well with my digestive system, so i don't drink it. I actually used to drink quite a lot of coffee, but i'm down to 1 regular-sized cup a day now, just to get me going in the morning. It's nice not feeling like such a caffeine addict any more.

Milk, sugar or creamer?
I used to have it with quite a bit of milk and 2 sweeteners, but these days i have it black and unsweetened. It was one of those things like medium-rare steak, where i thought people were elitist tossers about it, but got curious as to if there was a reason why they were so insistent it was better. Now i quite like my coffee black and my steak medium-rare, but i'd never go off about how it's the "superior" way to enjoy them. I still think we should just let people have their steak and coffee how they personally prefer it.

PS I hope you are faring ok in the Christmas season, I personally struggle with it, and will be glad when it is over.
I'm still kinda stressed about the family gathering this year. But i did some good work with my therapist, and on our last session before her holiday, we agreed i need to spend this Christmas challenging the notion i'm alive to perform a role, to fulfil some kind of responsibility. That was what always ruined it for me before, i spent the entire time constantly policing myself and obsessing about playing my part correctly, i went solely because i felt i had to. This year though, i'm going there to enjoy quality time with family, and if i'm too busy stressing about if i'm behaving correctly to enjoy it, i'm doing it wrong.

Coffee. I am a coffee snob, but I have met a couple guys who are more into it than I am. I have a scale to weigh my coffee, a programmable kettle, and an aero press, which is a coffee maker that results in a coffee concentrate somewhere between espresso and drip coffee. I can add water to get regular coffee, or milk to make a latte. I can make it hot or iced depending on the temperature of the water or milk. I know when it’s made well, and I think my coffee is comparable to what you might find in a small independent coffee shop.

I also like tea, primarily Chinese Oolong Tea, which is produced to be between green and black tea. I used to use the Chinese method to make it, but it’s rather ornate and I have forgotten the steps. Now I just pour hot water on it and strain after 4-5 minutes.

I’m having a terrible time with the holidays this year. It’s typically the time of year when I would relapse before I got any long term sobriety. There’s also two anniversaries of events in the end of the year that give me a lot of grief.
