Heyroo Stewart!

Thngs are boring with this new assignment. I just need to get it done, but there are only so many ways to endorse a casino. This employer wants 500 ways to endorse a casino. *sigh* For 15 bucks. I want to end this work, but I am tired. I've got to finish this project over the next couple of days. Argh!

mole and I have just had a hysterical moment considering who should play Dr Who, my suggestion of Samuel Jackson lead to "this motherf****** tardis" and "say what?!" at an invasion of the Daleks, just about saw us off.

Good afternoon/evening! :)

Ran errands this morning - got lots done. Spent the afternoon reading and watching TV, then talking to a friend. Not much else new here!

I hope everyone has a wonderful weekend! :dancing_flower2:

Jim's Café - Saturday, August 9, 2014

Good morning, Café! :)

A whole day with not a lot planned. Feel at loose ends. Will need to find something to do today as a bit of an outing or I will go stir crazy.

I hope everyone has a good day! :)

Re: Jim's Café - Saturday, August 9, 2014

Good afternoon :)

Maybe have a picnic or read a book in the park, or feed the birds if the weather is nice? It's great just to get out of the house even for a short walk, the fresh air is lovely too.

I hope I have a good day too lol :P I am not in pain today and feel alright, so I think it will be a good day, I hope everyone else does too :)

Good morning Café

Lots of yard work today and then Games Night with friends tonight. I can't figure out what snacks to bring when the majority are vegans and those on something called the "caveman diet." Probably a fruit bowl or something similar.

Except for being lonely a lot I have a pretty good life. I'm feeling good can't you tell? Part of it has to do with this site.

Good morning cafe,

I joined masters college on Saturday and I hope to go there everyday at least 45 minutes earlier so that I can feel more comfortable and relaxed. We shouldn't rush on anything.

Bonus, I made a friend over here. He was very friendly just like you all. :clap2:

Bye...

Jim's Cafe Sunday (I almost wrote Saturday) August 10, 2014

Afternoon SF,

I feel a bit better today than I did yesterday. That is good. I think part of my problem is taking my vitamin D3 supplement right before bed. Doctor prescribed that a couple months ago based on some blood test results. And I think that it is disturbing my sleep. So I will take at a different time now and hope it helps?

Have a good Saturday, everyone. :giraffe:

edit--- and there i wrote Saturday again. I'm all out of sorts today. .-.

Heyroo Stewart!

Looks like most of our favorite people are MIA. Ihope they are having a good day!

I bought a Nintendo Wii and WiiSports, and it should be here a week from now. I am excited for boxing! I will use it for exercise. Shadow boxing is a bore. Having something to swing at will be fun. I worked up a sweat within 10 min when my brother had his Wii here. It was all good!

Hoping everyone is having a good day!

Jim's Cafe Monday August 11, 2014

Good morning!

I hope everyone had a decent weekend and we are off to another week - whee!

Today will be a challenge, my car got smashed by a falling tree limb in a storm on Friday, so I have to make phone calls and see about getting it fixed.

The storm also blew away my City issued trash container (we have an automated pick up truck). So I have to call them and find out how to get it replaced. Hope it isn't expensive.

College starts again on the 26th for me and I am looking forward to it.

My eyes are recovering well from the cataract surgeries, only problem is I can't WASH my hair for another day or so. ick

Have a good Monday all!

As long as the insurance company pay out Kitty as we all know insurance companies always try to wriggle out of paying claims. They could say a falling tree is an act of God and therefore is not within the policy. If they say that tell them you do not believe in God so the policy should cover nature

Re: Jim's Cafe Monday August 11, 2014

Good morning, Café folks! :)

Went to bed at a reasonable hour last night and woke up quite early this a.m. Star is not one to let me sleep in! *snuggles the kitty!* I have not been doing well for the last couple of days because Star's blood work at the vet shows her kidneys are beginning to fail. It's progressive and meds might help to slow things down, "might"...I'm very sad. Star is my little love, my baby. She is still purring and will play so I'm hoping it's early days and that she has a long while before things get bad for her. :( *cries*

Texaskitty, your poor car! Poor you for having to deal with that! I hope the insurance covers it. What a major PIA (pain in the a**). Have my fingers crossed that your trash can is not expensive! I would be going absolutely nuts if I could not wash my hair! You are extremely strong and brave, my dear! :arms:

Heya, Twocky! I hope you have a good day! :)

Welcome to the week, everyone - I hope it's a good one for all! :butterfly4:

Heyroo!

Oh wow, TK... I hope they file the appropriate paperwork! If they claim that it's an Act of God, I would be fecking upset!

I agree with Twocky, it should cover nature.

Twocky, I hope you have a good day!

Acy! Nooooooooooooooo! That can't be happening to poor Star! I forbid it! How unfair. I'm so sorry.

I got paid this morning from the services I provided to a person on freelancer.com

I got a Wii, and a few games on eBay. One item is coming from China (a pair of boxing gloves that hold the controllers), and a ton of exercise games. That's the only thing that I want to use it for. It'll be good to box again. I have lost 15 pounds in the last 2 months. 1.8 pounds in the last week. I'm making steady progress. My doctor will be pleased.
