Good morning SF friends. Its gonna be a hot one on the east coast USA. So, I thought an iced coffee at Jims would be a good idea.

Some questions to answer if you feel like it.

1) what mythical creature(s) do you wish really existed?
Eg. Dragon, unicorn, centaur, griffin, phoenix, fairy, mermaid, kraken, sphinx, giant, cyclops, shapeshifter, genie, green man, werewolf, gingerbread man.(to name a few)

2) what's something youre good at?

I'd like to have real fairies and gnomes in my front flower beds. Also, giant snake in the water. And a rising Phoenix.

That's a good question. I think I would summon a genie, so that I can get three wishes granted:
1. Cure me from my disease
2. Cure my mom from her ailments
3. Some well-formulated wish about stopping man's folly.

I'm good at making wishes.

Hello , thankyou for the tag.
I wish all forms of mythical creatures existed and ofcourse the good ones too , who would help defeat the dangerous ones ( if they would be creating any problems ). I wish humans possessed access to resources as well so we could adapt while maintaining safety.

I think I am good at feeling , my feelings and emotions. As in , allowing myself to.

I don't necessarily wish they existed, but I've been fascinated by werewolves for years. I used to write Harry Potter fanfiction, and I would always want to make my main character a werewolf for some reason. In terms of actually wishing they existed, maybe something a bit less harmful, like a unicorn.
One thing I feel like I'm good at is noticing details. I drive the supervisors crazy at work pointing out little problems in our documentation or things that weren't done right

I'm with @DarkNightshade on this. A genie that granted wishes would be awesome, provided that it didn't play any dirty tricks and stayed in the bottle.

I think in principle a unicorn would not be too far fetched to actually produce with genetic engineering, provided that it just had a horn and no magical powers, etc.

I read that there's a professor named George Church that wants to try to bring back woolly mammoths (or some reasonable facsimile). He seems to think they would be very helpful in preventing global warming. I'm all for it. Bring back woolly mammoths now!

What do we want? Mammoths!!!!

When do want them? NOW!!!!

i love all kinds, but maybe dragons or bigfoot, are probably some of my favorites, or maybe allays or hapoy ghasts from minecraft. my persona of myself is a fae, kind of like puck from midsummer nights dream i always thought those kinds of fairies were really cool and wanted to be one (or any kind of shapeshifter).

I guess I would say a pegasus if I had to choose something. But rather than wish that something existed but does not, look at all the creatures that look like fanciful images, but do exist already. Giraffes would be a good example. Platypus in southern hemisphere would be another. I just had the idea of plugging the phrase, "animals that should not exist, but do," into a search engine and got many interesting results. So it's not a new idea, but I find the creatures that already exist are fascinating enough to keep me busy for more than a lifetime.

2) what's something you're good at?

• Falling asleep when I shouldn't, for the most part. Just kidding - I'm not good at that; it's a natural talent that I haven't earned.
• Languages, including math and music. For some reason when I study a given language I start to understand it and that creates a self-reinforcing reward that makes me want to learn more, which in turn feels even more rewarding so I want to learn even more.

Faries and Gnomes would be truly enchanting! I would love them as well as some others I think. Dragons are really incredible, but I like nice dragons. Unicorns would be wonderful too.

I don't know really what to say for what I am good at, but I think perseverance/persevering would be what I have noticed lately. I keep going and don't give up entirely.
