What is the craziest thing one of your teachers has done? An economics professor's daughter was in a relationship with one of the classmates. Craziest thing was she was the one who iniated this news in the class

What's the most interesting thing you have read or seen this week? I read in the internet yesterday, that there is a hill fort in the north near Taj Mahal , near that fort a saint used to live who after death became a ghost. His statue is worshipped there even today. It happened centuries ago

What ridiculous thing someone has tricked you into doing or believing? There are many, but one was a network marketing company. They are doctors in lying to the new associates

Howdy everyone, thanks for the Tuesday specials & cafe @Champagne 😁 I dont have many memes to share unfortunately, I have a bit of a busy day ahead.. I get to see if I get to take my cast off today so I'm stoked to see what happens there haha I have my fingers crossed. Hope everyone has some plans that are way more extravagant than that lol

Oooo I'm not sure. With the amount of crazy & toxic behavior everywhere I'm surprised it hasn't broke a long time ago.

What is the craziest thing one of your teachers has done?

I've had a few teachers that were absolute characters, when it comes to crazy, I'd say the teachers that have just snapped at kids over little things. It was always weird to see & I dont think anyone expects that usually, they shouldn't from a mentor.

What’s the most interesting thing you’ve read or seen this week?

Not many interesting articles crossing my way this week unfortunately, the news is the same monotonous crazy too.

What ridiculous thing has someone tricked you into doing or believing?

The most ridiculous thing some one has gotten me to believe is that I couldn't be myself. I'm glad I learned ways around it, I've never really wanted to be anyone else. With that they got me to believe my opinion didn't matter & I'd always be looked down on. I discovered I dont have to allow any of that to happen thank goodness

tardy as usual (sorry) but thanks of course for inviting me!!!
just got away from my new PCP video appointment. Seems like i’ll be ok! gotta go in person next month for the usual wellness checkup/tests.... been several (too many) months. ... did time fly or what?!?

but for todays plans, nothing at the moment! just these questions....

What will finally break the internet? i think the internet is already broken. what will fix the internet is a new outlook on life, a new point of view. a little compassion and empathy. taking some extra time to stop and think. hmm, sigh, it won’t happen will it? maybe it will. its worth hoping for.

What is the craziest thing one of your teachers has done? i remember i had a crazy teacher in junior high school 7th grade - social studies. he did crazy things as i remember, but what, i do not recall! maybe he stood on his desk once (or maybe i saw that in a movie. not really sure. he did do and say some crazy things though. i’m sure of that.)

What’s the most interesting thing you’ve read or seen this week? hmm, ”made on machinery that processes nuts” or something like that. pretty exciting, right? actually some of my medical information i saw during my PCP visit just before, was a little more interesting but not much more. would you like the TMI?

What is the craziest thing one of your teachers has done?
I had an art history professor who used a riding crop to change slides (yes dating myself as there was someone babysitting the slide projector) walking up and down the theater seating and he would always find one student sleeping so he would hit the back of the chair next to the unsuspecting student and the reaction was priceless...

Also have to add that when my mother was an extended day care teacher (pre-school aged kids) she had one kid who liked to bite other kids stomachs...so one day she gently did the same to him...her description of the kid's reaction was priceless and he never did it again

What’s the most interesting thing you’ve read or seen this week?
Alas nothing yet...but in talking with my therapist...going to re-read Viktor Frankl's Man's Search For Meaning... he suggested having "conversations" with him...still struggling with that one I will admit...but am going to give it a go...

As a kid I was reluctant to learn how to tell time...so my parents would send me to bed when it was dark...needless to say they loved that winter...lol

When they start making computers that are very precise replicas of the human mind. Some people's minds (like mine, for instance) are so fucked that, if replicated and transferred into a machine, would not only break said machine, but make it explode into about a million little pieces.

What is the craziest thing one of your teachers has done?
Crazy in the sense of fucked up or crazy in the sense of outrageous? For the former, I would have to say my AP History teacher constantly making me stay behind after class and being a little too "nice", if you know what I mean. Pretty sure he was a fucking pedophile. As for the latter, my 7th grade social studies teacher definitely had a few screws loose. Can't really explain why, but let's just say he had some very unconventional teaching methods. But he was also one of the coolest teachers I've ever had.

What’s the most interesting thing you’ve read or seen this week?
My stepdad stepped in a big old pile of dog shit today. That made my day.

If you were given a one-minute ad slot during the Super Bowl that you couldn’t sell, what would you fill it with?
Something extremely inappropriate that ended up pissing people off until next year's Superbowl.

What ridiculous thing has someone tricked you into doing or believing?
My own mind tricks me a hell of a lot. But other than that, my cousin told me that it was okay to hit a "Boo" when we were playing Super Mario on NES, and that it wouldn't cause me to lose a life. Needless to say...I lost a life. We still talk about that incident to this day.

I never find anything "interesting" or "fascinating". If I don't know something and get the info I'm not really excited about it. Not even if I want to know something do I find it "interesting". I don't feel home sickness either, and I've never missed anyone in my entire life; some brain parts must've been removed by aliens.

If you were given a one-minute ad slot during the Super Bowl that you couldn’t sell, what would you fill it with?

I have a couple of business ideas, but no partners to get anything done so I guess I would ask for someone to but my patent on one of the "inventions".

I am still not confident that world *isn't* run by a small cabal of satanic pedophiles. So that really got far in there, haha.

What is the craziest thing one of your teachers has done? Hmm... I've had a lot of pervy teachers but I don't want to give them this honor. One of my professors in university travelled to somewhere in Asia and participated in the liberation of a group of women. One of her closest friends died and she cried in class talking about it. Incidentally, she's my favorite professor.

What’s the most interesting thing you’ve read or seen this week? The coupons for Carls Jr? Idk... I haven't been much with it this week so far. But they took my fancy.

one minute.. some cute ad with subliminal messages that activate sleeper agents into saving the world.

What ridiculous thing has someone tricked you into doing or believing? It's sad but my ex boyfriend and his friend tricked me into believing he had stabbed himself and was dying through a series of phone calls and texts.

Hi, I know Tuesday is over and the cafe is probably shut for the night but just thought I’d drop in for a night cap (hot milk of course)

Been reading the responses to the things teachers have done. This is not one that I was a student with but something I did.
I used to teach primary, 7 year olds, and every year I would hatch out ducklings in my classroom. We’d do a whole big project on them. On one occasion I was reading a story at the end of the day and we were interrupted by one of the class shouting ‘it’s come out of the egg’. They’d been allowed to sit and watch over the hatching event. One year in particular I managed to hatch out two yellow ducklings and they became attached to me. They would cry when I left the room for assembly or PE and make excited cheaping noises when they heard me coming back. I had to take them home every evening to look after them. Taught them to swim in the bath and had to sleep on the floor next to them to keep them quiet. Lived in a flat and neighbours weren’t happy at the noise if they cried. I cried so much when they had to go. But they did go to a lovely farm and were well cared for. The kids loves them as you can imagine.
Not a funny story but good memories.

What is the craziest thing one of your teachers has done?

Choose me, of all his students in all of his classes, for the environmental science award. I was the most remote, unassuming individual he could have chosen, and I didn’t even know such an award even existed until my name was called upon in the auditorium. I wasn’t even psychologically prepared to sit down in-between a tightly quartered row of students, let alone swagger my way to a stage and collect some reward as if by rote. Most importantly, I was so unprepared that I didn’t even think to tell my teacher “Thank you!” I had one job. To think that his hand trembled when he handed me the pin without even getting so much as a word of gratitude haunts me. It could have been worse: I could have hugged him in front of the entire senior student body.

Silence. Couldn’t be more physically discomforting than modern propaganda.
