I'm 15 and I've been looking around these forums for sometime..

I'm absolutely terrified.. A few minutes ago I remember getting my school belt and wrapping it around the stairs banister, pretty tight. I put my head inbetween and just had my neck gently suspended.. It only seemed like I was there for a few seconds, things went black and all I remember is waking up to a VERY loud motor noise in my ears, my mouth and body was tingling all over, I started panicking and I thought I was dead or something.. It was really horrible
The thing is, in my sub conscience (sp) I didn't really want to kill myself.
I feel really sick now.. With bright red marks around my neck, any idea when they'll go?

I'm sorry for what happened to you. The good thing is that, you're still alive, and deep down inside you don't really want to go. What motivated you to do this? You don't have to tell me if you don't want to. About the red marks, it will take a while, but they should fade away with time...

The bright red marks will probably leave in a couple days or maybe even less.
Your body was tingling from the lack of oxygen. I really hope that you are alright. If you keep feeling sick I highly suggest getting some medical attention because you may have damaged something.
I'm glad that you are still alive and you realize you don't want to kill yourself.
If you would like to talk about it feel free to send a pm my way.

Hey Someone. Being a teenager can be hard...but let me tell you, it gets so much better. A few years of crap is sooooo worth a life full of joy and love and hope. Stay safe. Stay alive. It WILL get better and someday, you too will be wondering why the hell you thought that life was not worth living, That has been my experience anyway, and I have had my heart ripped out, destroyed, burned to an unrecognizable crisp and risen from the ashes to find a truly beautiful life. Life can be more wonderful than you can possibly imagine...but in the meantime, just TRY to imagine and it will get you through.

I'm glad you are okay! And, I'm glad you realize that in your subconscious you didn't really want to die! What brought you to this point?
