  1. Just a question.

    If you do something that you know has a high chance of killing you, but you do not do it with the intent of killing yourself, but you are ok if that is the result. Is it still considered a suicide attempt?

    I think that's best classified as recklessness. Intent to kill is required for a suicide attempt.

    i doubt that anyone would do something knowing that it will kill them without wanting to die, so yes, i would call it suicide.
    remember its human nature to protect oneself from serious harm

    It falls in the same as suicidals. Suicidals do not know what the outcome will be of trying different methods so they just venture in different ways to reach such goal either knowingly or not. Your question as formed is definitively a search to tempt the devil death. If you are talking about yourself, do not hesitate to reach out and seek help, same if it is a person you know hun.
