Once full of promise was a girl of two,
Everything exciting and new.
Her only dream was to live to please,
But born a teen, that dream was through.
What consisted of smiles were replaced by tears,
Held captive by her living fears.
Whispers of sin tried to distract her,
Yet she continued her attempt to please her peers.
She held onto one simple wish,
And that wish was one of love.
And for just one small little while,
she even prayed to the above.
Yet to her dismay, all of her prays,
were never answered or returned.
And any bit of that little girl,
Was licked by flames and burned.
In amidst of depression she gave in to sin,
And soon the dance with knives would begin,
But as that waltz would soon progress,
it was later replaced with a gun.
That night she hoped to pull the trigger,
and with misery her life would be done.
But all in good time.
