Hello SF fam!! Of course we all want to feel good but when my depression kicks in, as much as it sucks, it feels like it’s the norm. Like I’m wired to feel this way. When I’m having a good day (if you wanna call it that) it kinda feels too good to be true. Like any minute now, I’ll be back to my normal self. Being depressed about something seems to be the norm for me. Being happy ain’t so normal🤷🏾‍♂️🤷🏾‍♂️

Definitely, the weird part is when not being depressed feels weird. Depression can feel very comfortable when you’ve been depressed for so long. It is possible to get used to feeling less depressed though. It takes time for that to become the new ‘norm’.
Hope you have one of your better days today. Xx
Exactly!! Appreciate your comment and hope you have a good day as well

When depression kicks in you fall deep (I know this so well). But have trust that it will go up again. At the bottom point, it can only go up. I really wish, it would pass quickly. Do yourself something good: eat ice-cream, sleep, listen to some good music - or best if you have the power: walk a little in nature.

May it pass quickly.

I’ll definitely go for the ice cream and sleep after my 12 hour shift today 😂
