    A Simple Request.

There's only so much I can stomach
    Truth? I can't breathe anymore

You can shatter my glass heart
    And saunter out the door

And I will laugh because you hurt me
And I will laugh 'cause I abhor

And I will laugh because I'm sick
And kindly ask you to yell more

And there's only so much I can take
    Before I bre| |ak the fragile box

And let my secrets seep through
And see exactly who it shocks

And hear the words that sound new
Because they've been so long in locks

And shriek with laughter because you
Turned back the time on all the clocks

There's only so long I can hide
    In this clandestine frustration

    And eventually I'll tell you
    All that's in my contemplation

    And desire runs my mind
    Like dictation runs a nation

God, I've got so many secrets
    That exceed your expectations

    Lustful fruit of citrus bliss
In my eye I drain a lime

    Acidic crimson self-destruct
Toying with the sands of time

    Play me sweet, piano tunes
With no reason and no rhyme

    Gradually, I'll come around
Those weak and broken eyes are mine

Please, you rip my skin to scarlet
And I've got no selfish bone

I would die for your existence
If I could do that on my own

    But I'm also only human
And my flaws are sometimes shown

And I'd kill for one apology
    Before you continue home
