Keeping up appearances

    What's your method for seeing what's wrong with the way you present yourself and then changing it to hide what's inside? Or can you give me an example so I can figure out the method myself?

    Any suggestions appreciated.

    I watch peoples reactions of me...and figure out what they're reacting to about my presence, and hide accordingly...things they don't like, or I don't. poof

    I get reality checks from people. I just ask. "Hey, I'm feeling like a jerk for saying what I just did. Am I way off in thinking that way?"
