    Fall…
    Fall away with me,
    Into…darkness
Plunge deep into the depths of no return.
    For I cannot follow…madness.
It is by that, its very nature that contorts us.
The boundaries of sanity that controls us!

    Oh my heart!
Ripped apart and ravaged as the moonlight glistens peacefully upon my face.
    My soul…shattered
Oh carry me not into nothingness!
    For I…can see

What is this vessel inside my head that carries me adrift to the promise land?
Where are these boundaries of fiction? Of sanity?
For I have truly gone mad…
Taken afloat to the clouds of wisdom!
    …the clouds of madness

The cool gust of the wind gently whistles through my soul…

    Death,
    Hate,
    Love,
    Violence,
    Friendship,
    Lust,
    Betrayal,

All as one, two as none.
    For this…is who we become.
Molded as clay to shape history’s immortality.
Oh! Leave me to ponder the very foundations of our…
    …What is our foundation?

    You.

    This is terrific.

    Powerful.

And somehow even better read aloud.
