Last night you phoned me in total dispair.
Fed up and secluded, feeling you can't bear.
Desperate and angry, you needed to vent,
let out your feelings, want someone to be there.
I talked and listened for a long while.
Tried to help, to be a comfort.
There's only so much you can do over the phone,
A certain amount of love you can show.
I hope I managed to let you know how special you are.
Sometimes I feel useless, there's not much I can do.
But remember I will always be here, whenever you need me.
    Because you are my friend.
  2. That is why God (though we're not speaking right now - just furtively glancing) invented the inventor of the telephone, or drums, or smoke-signals - or The Net (wait - that was war technology, but I digress - don't you HATE when some say there's a reason for EVERYthing?!) .

Great poem (pome)(poam) (is there an echo in here?!). You made me smile, brought me outa my funk (and damn - I was almighty determined to STAY right put! SOD YOU!)
