Lesson to self: don't be complacent about Covid in 2022

#1
Just read this article written by a doctor who does autopsies, about the damage Covid causes in the body to brain, lungs, and other organs, and risks of death long past recovery from the initial infection.

This article has made me determined to keep masking (N95 masks) and being very careful to try to avoid infection. As well as getting the next booster when it's available.

Thanks for posting this. It was a reality check, a reminder of what could happen. I've gotten lazy with wearing a mask when it was something I was diligent about before.
You're welcome. Just yesterday before reading this I went to a restaurant where servers are no longer masked, and most people in the room were not wearing masks, even when not at their table.

Subvariants are swelling here right now, and I've been thinking well, should I just not mask since I will probably get it eventually anyway? Even though I had my last booster in January? After reading this I'm going to be vigilant again. I can't wait to get my next booster in the fall.
