    Life is Poise

    Will those gleaming marble halls,
    Let loose those hidden screams?
See the triumph of the fool,
The death of all bright things

    I can’t find,
    In my soul,
    A single pound,
    of control
    Am I sick?
    Or deceived?
Wasting my life in this black sea here

    Cause’ the knife is poised,
    Life insane
Life is this bruise I’m feeling again
    And again and again

Can my seat in this lost time?
    Help the vile,
    Born of hunger,
    Empathise in vicious anger

    I am fear,
    Not control,
    Dripping in-through your soul
    You are mine,
    Here consigned,
Stopping your feet before they land now

    Cause’ life is coins,
    Life is the same,
    Knifing the pure tongue
    Making them slain
    And again and again

And i think you do a great job of capturing that.

I like that it's raw, but also so clean at the same time. Like each word was chosen so carefully.

I don't know if that makes any sense

Obviously unlike me, mine is raw and disjointed and horrible haha.
