Without oil, life would be very rusty and squeaky.

A lot of things are going to change, I think that the point to many people look at is the end of oil. A better mark would be the peaking (or the point were oil proction peaks and begains to decline.) Were are a socity addicted to the eccess of a life brought on with cheap energy.

We will do anything to keep our standered of liveing, were already proving this with the massive increase of the use ethenol for fuel. And that alone is what will make our times an intersting one to live in.
