I binged and purged for years... all my teeth are rotting out... need nearly ten thousand dollars worth of dental repairs... if you must purge... make sure you brush your teeth to get all the acids out... drink some milk or something... because you let your teeth go... the pain almost can push you over the edge.

YIKES! That sucks, but what ever you do DO NOT BRUSH YOUR TEETH!

The reason why is that you're brushing the stomach acid on in your mouth onto your teeth, like you use a brush on a sink. Rinse your mouth with warm water and baking soda. The baking soda will neutralize the acid in your mouth and save your teeth. Brush your teeth an hour later or so and you'll be good to go.

I was a purging anorexic and it jacked up my teeth some too. Burned the enamel of my teeth yellowish which im now trying to fix.

yes my teeth are yellow too.. i never brush my teeth... one day i will have no teeth.. purging for about five years.. but i will use baking soda.. im sorry about your teeth.. i hope this doesnt happen to mine.. so hard to stop even knowing the consequences:blink:

This is so true.

I've already basically ruined my teeth. I've been purging for 3 years and much of the enamel has rubbed away from the acid. I also have cavities, and my teeth are not white like they used to be. I hope my teeth don't rot away, but then again, I don't really care. Not like I'm gonna be alive long enough to deal with the consequences.

They are so damaged after years of purging. All my front teeth are now see through & have started to crack.

It's not a good look.
