anyone taken this or know much about it?

My psychiatrist prescribed me this.. without saying how it would help, or what the effects/side effects were.

Looking on the web its not supposed to be used if you suffer from bipolar.

Which I do.

So.. eh.. Enlighten me please if you know anything :biggrin:

Hi. I've never taken this, but I understand that it's a tricyclic anti-depressant, and there is some evidence that these can effect a switch to mania/hypomania in people with bipolar. So you really should be careful. Are you also taking a mood stabiliser, because that should really help.
