This was a good video, thank you for posting. Loneliness can be caused by many different things depending on who you are and what circumstances you are in, but this video covered many of them.
For me specifically, what separated me from the few friends I had in life and what keeps me from making new friends was/is;
Having children/getting married
Having different religious, political, social beliefs
But the #1 one thing I would say is I don't believe there is any kind of good future here, a large part of me looks forward to death because of that, and who wants to be around someone like that? No one.
I have also never done any kind of social media and do not own a smart phone(being born in 1984 so I was still in my early twenties when they became popular) because I saw from the start the downside of being attached to it all the time, which also separated me even more from people who do. I actually practice something I call 'Turn off the noise', where I purposely separate myself for a certain period each day and have no electronic devices around me so I can value the quiet, and just learn to feel comfortable with myself not hearing from anyone or anything else. Except the phone will always be on for emergencies only.
Well I can't say much more right now as this is a big subject, but it is an important one and a major cause for suicidal thought and action. We as a society should be studying this more, not profiting off of others loneliness like some of those mentioned in the video.
Thanks again
