Has anyone ever looked at their own picture, and thought, gee, that looks like someone who has died? Not that you literally look dead in the picture, just the feeling you might get from looking at someone in an article about someone who commited suicide etc. Is this dissociation or something? Am I just really really depressed? Or delusional?

try to avoid pictures of myself - sometimes can barely stand being in front of a mirror

people keep telling me to wear light colors, because i'm very light-skinned and the contrast makes me look like a corpse

doesn't stop me from wearing my black leather coat though - sometimes i feel like the image is appropriate

Yeah I know what you mean about the black, it feels appropriate too. Sometimes I read like sites saying that it's better to wear light colours cause it's more "feminine" and I want to try...but I feel weird in em.
