    The snow fell silent, thick and without direction
    My thoughts buried beneath the cold of my despair
    I shuddered in the darkness, wanting answers from above
    My heart ache growing and in need of repair

    Footprints now faded, covered lightly with flakes
    My shoulders hunched upwards all knotted and tight
    I gazed at the stars, my mind so unclear
    As the clouds moved swiftly in, blocking the light

    Turning away, my back to the wind, I walked
    The darkness lifted and the moon shone through
    With heavy breath guided by the light of the path
    I fell to my knees and in an instant... I knew

    Thanks total eclipse, Yesterday was a bad night and writing is helping me get over my grief.

    Thanks Petal, I am having a good day today, Maybe in the future I will be able to write something fuzzy and warm... well maybe not quite that fuzzy but more uplifting
