Lullaby...

  1. I’m listening for a lullaby
Some song to keep me safe
    from dying
    Some voice to tell me
    there’s a way,
    to keep from falling,
    the blessing of some rest
I want to hear it calling
    For I keep tumbling, headlong,
though I’m trying to hang on
    And all the while
    it doesn’t seem long
before I reach the edge again
I’m always standing on the ledge
    of loss and madness
    I’ve seen too much sadness
    and it’s taken its toll
    I’ll never be whole again
    Give me a lullaby,
    tell me, sing me
    to refuge
    Sing,
I beg to hear the notes…
    I wish I could wake
    from this living death
    to true comfort

    Dear FAL1;

That was just lovely and again, you expressed my feelings also. I especially loved the lines: "I'm always standing on the ledge
    of loss and madness"

    Damn, you're good!!:eek:hmy:

    love,
