Sorry guys, been slacking a bit :D But I'm here now. Still need to work on my diet and exercise. What are your fitness goals for this month?

It’s good you started this @Witty⭐️Sarcasm ⭐️ .
I’ve been more good than bad about beverages and food, no soda. no alcohol, & eating mostly from the local farms. Throwing out the idea to anyone who reads this; find your local food growers and buy from them.
Goal for May hmm:
2 workouts a week (strength) and 3 walk/runs.

Those are some great goals. Glad you are eating healthier. I wish I could get a handle on that, but I guess I'll just need to try harder.

Honestly... IDK.

Every time I look in the mirror I get depressed. I am so out of shape. I want to lose weight, but actually changing what needs to change seems all too hard.

Maybe one day I will have the willpower and motivation to follow through.

I get that...I find it hard to find the desire to change. I hope you can find the motivation one day, too. *brohug

To lose between 2 and 4 pounds, do it slowly and sensibly. Continue keeping muscle tone. I fit the guy getting older who never lost a teddy bear stomach regardless of muscle buildup. LOL

You are probably right. Everything in moderation yes? But, chocolate as the main meal for the day probably isn't a great idea :D
depends on wht type of chocolate but every food has benefits. like if you take dark chocolate, it can give you energy. i eat it to take care of my anemia and others. ✨

I want to go for more walks, but I wish I had someone to do that with. I guess I will on my own if I can't find anyone.

My diet is OK, lots of vegetables, legumes, fruits, nuts, fish and healthy fats. I might need more protein though.....at my age I'm losing some muscle mass.
But I've been slacking off on the exercise. I walk 2 miles maybe once or twice a week; I do 40 squats once or twice a week. I haven't done any of those 1/2 hour vigorous stationary bike workouts that got my heart beat up to about 125 or 130 for a couple of months. Same for those curls with the 5lb weights......I was doing 2 reps of 100 curls every night for a while there.
OK, I'll get up on that exercise thing.

That’s often what stops me from going out the door. I hope you will find the “just do it-ness” to get past the door and walking. I like heading to a nearby small park to do a few loops of it, when I can.

I did a core workout 3 days ago. Then there was so much lifting and packing of boxes that I was exhausted the next day. Yesterday I managaed a short walk in the morning. In the pm I did an arm workout. I need to up the reps because my arms are sort of strong but I don’t like how they look bleh.
