    Midnight Paintbrush

    ON an intricately lit night
    Nature's symphony plays
Stars are dotted across the midnight expanse
    setting the night ablaze
Enchanting the world with its beauty
the full moon shines brightly tonight
a towering nightlight for all the world to see
flooding the world with its angelic light
god has surely taken his paintbrush out
as we set our gazes on the midnight painting
tranquility shines in peace on the world
as the so called "real" worlds of all start fainting
The tinted night is one of a kind
indeed a tranquil and intricate night
as the moon sinks into the emerald ocean
the view is erased as a sunset is painted over the sight!

It's beautiful. Makes me want to see it in all its glory.

I like it very much!! Just as some music gives me imagery, your poem gives me music - something like one of Beethoven's Sonatas, the Moonlight, maybe.
