I was going to go Christmas shopping, but after 1 shop I just had to come home, couldn't be out alone, couldn't cope with wondering what people were thinking about me, especially the way I look. I think everything, this and depression and everything else stems from not feeling wanted, I guess somehow I need to trick my mind into thinking I dont need to be wanted, being wanted is out of my control. I guess that is what some therapy is about, making me feel more comfortable, changing my mindset, shame I wont reach out and get it.

Other people thinking about how they look.
You may be too isolated as a lot of us are and not only here.
There are people who would want to know you and but meeting people now is more difficult.
Friendly smile is almost always welcome but be careful who you smile at
    Lonely people are vulnerable.
Better be alone than with someone who exploits you.
Chrismas is time of high stress.
    Do you go to library?
Libraries safe places and info about groups.
Librarians are often helpful (in UK it is their job to help)
You can go to libraries and just relax and read maybe join reading group.
    That is just suggestion.
    It might not suit you.
    You do what suits you.

University library worst place to go.
My opinion of academics might be regarded as jaundiced and offensive.
They seem to me, a lot of them, arrogant to the point of stupidity.
I would go to humble library which will have social mixture and info about activities.

Evening classes where there may be some academics but also variety of others.
Singing classes you might consider as singing is very good for physical and mental health and building confidence.
Most likely you are shy about singing.
A lot of people go to singing classes to overcome that.
And singers and musicians generally like to encourage others.
Art classes are a popular option.
People who manage to make the effort do seem to enjoy classes and there is often good social community.
My old boss learned bridge and made very useful friends.
There must be something we could think of for you

Nip this in the bud. It's much easier to deal with social anxiety before it gets bad. Do things that are socially challenging to you as much as possible, even if you don't need to do them otherwise.

All good ideas/points that I should have expected, I know I wont do something about it, as always, guess I was just moaning and making myself feel like I had reached out

The world doesn't evolve around you, or should I say us since I'm exactly the same.

Yes... please do something about it right away!

I've been afraid to leave my house on and off since I started highschool, and it's back again- that uncomfortable feeling...
I haven't left the house (or my room, really...) since august.
I'm just too scared of what people will think of me... or that they'll hurt me.

It's probably easier to deal with the problem if you get help immediately!
    so please do! >.<
