  1. Misery

    The constant corroding into meaninglessness
    The incessant flood of eroding of purpose
    Time moves in slow motion
    without reason
    All my tears held by the ocean
    so that they can’t be released,
    but gather without cease,
    no suffering appeased,
    Mind spinning in the fray;
    Dizzying reality as night becomes day,
    and there is no difference
    between the two
    No Old welcoming the New;
    When wakeful dreams
    are never as they seem
    yet are as real as death
    in each moment
    Oh, the torment;
    I cannot last
    Relief from this pain
    is what I ask for
    knocking on the door,
    Time, love, and energy spent,
    worthy in their grave intent,
    wasted on all places they were ever sent…

    That is misery.

    Brilliantly done....

    Your more recent poems seem (to me) to be begging for release. I hope you find that release someday, honestly.

    I hope you find release soon also - as well as some peace of mind and inner strength. There is more to you than you know or can feel - I"m sure of it.:smile: :smile:

    Your poem, as always, is brilliant but so painful to read.:sad:

    love and hugs and hope,
